TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 19, 2017 VMware‘s (NYSE: VMW) vSAN hyper-converged infrastructure technology is now covered in its vSphere offering to the Defense Department under the Defense Information Systems Agency‘s updated Security Technical Implementation Guide, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Thursday the STIG certification verifies the compliance of vSphere and vSAN with security requirements for deployment on DoD networks.
