TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 19, 2017 A business unit of General Atomics will provide a lithium-ion battery system for a portable unmanned underwater vehicle as part of a contract with the Defense Department, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said MondayGeneral Atomics Electromagnetic Systems will supply its Lithium-ion Fault Tolerant battery to power the Semi-Autonomous Hydrographic Reconnaissance Vehicle for shallow water surveillance and mine detection operations.
