TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 5, 2017 Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has unveiled a new 861,112-square-foot logistics facility in the U.K. that will work to provide commodities and support services to the British military, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Tuesday it partnered with the U.K. defense ministry to open the $103.4 million defense fulfillment center near the Donnington base in Shropshire and projects $622.9 million in savings for the military over the next 15 years.
“The completion of the Defense Fulfillment Center is an important milestone in our strategic plan to deliver enhanced information technology and logistics services to the armed forces,” said Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Leidos and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017.
