TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 31, 2017 PV Puvvada, president of Unisys (NYSE: UIS) federal systems business and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, has said government agencies should assess the expectations of employees in order to establish a “modern and flexible” workforce, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Puvvada wrote in a guest piece published Tuesday that agency leaders should consider platforms such as social media to engage with particular employee groups such as millennials.
“Millennials can bring important new skills and talents to government, but like any new employees, they must be made aware of the culture, the rules on hiring and advancement, and the organizations deliberate processes for checks and balances,” he noted.
