Tom Lee, former vice president of national security at Acuity, has joined digital services provider Octo Consulting Group as senior vice president of the national security business unit.
Octo said Monday Lee will oversee the company’s business development efforts and information technology programs for national security customers such as FBI and the departments of State and Homeland Security.
“We were immediately drawn to Tom’s background which gives him a unique lens at approaching engagements to ensure agency mission success,” said Octo CEO Mehul Sanghani.
Lee managed agile systems development programs for government customers in his previous job and is a certified scrum master, project management professional and ITIL v3f practitioner.
The two-decade government IT professional began his career as a certified public accountant at PwC and BearingPoint.
