TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 23, 2017 Siemens will perform facility updates at the U.S. Army‘s Joint Systems Manufacturing Center in Lima, Ohio, under a $11.8 million contract from the Army Corps of Engineers, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Monday it will work to help the Army installation adopt energy efficiency measures, reduce energy consumption and ensure energy security under the energy savings performance contract.
Barbara Humpton, president and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies and an inductee into Executive Mosaics Wash100 for 2017, said the company is the first energy services provider to perform the contracted work at a government-owned and contractor-operated Army facility.
