TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 22, 2017 Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president for government strategy and policy at Inmarsat, has said partnerships between the government and commercial satellite communications industry will work to support the Defense Department‘s space resiliency efforts, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
Cowen-Hirsch wrote in a piece published on MilsatMagazine that public-private partnerships in satcom will drive the integration between the military’s baseline architectures and industry’s technological developments amid the current budget environment.
“A partnership will enable the DoD to augment capabilities while ensuring resilience in space, with seamless, satellite-driven mobility, connectivity and functionality,” she said.
