TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 20, 2017 Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has introduced a new service offering that aims to facilitate safety in the national airspace through the delivery of automatic notifications to pilots about nearby unmanned aircraft systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday the UAS Notification Service seeks to ensure deconfliction between the operations of commercial UAS and military aircraft using collected flight planning data.
