TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 16, 2017 ViON has released new guidelines for cloud strategy reviews to support organizations following a server outage in late February related to Amazon Web Services‘ (Nasdaq: AMZN) Simple Storage Service in northern Virginia or the US-EAST-1 region, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
ViON said Friday it has also launched a new blog to provide information on cloud architecture reassessments, as well as redundancy models to ensure continuity of cloud operations in case of disruptions.
“The outage shines a light on the vulnerability that IT managers and c-level executives face in business operations and data management and we realize what a tremendous responsibility it is to plan for and anticipate all the possibilities,” said Rob Davies, executive vice president of operations at ViON and an inductee into Executive Mosaics Wash100 for 2017.
“[We] feel its important to continue serving this community with sound advice and information as the stakes rise higher and higher.”
