Former CMS Official Teresa Titus-Howard Named Federal Health Solutions VP at Telligen

Teresa Titus-Howard, a former official within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, has joined Iowa-based healthcare intelligence firm Telligen as vice president of federal health solutions.

The company said Monday Titus-Howard will be in charge of its healthcare services portfolio for the federal market and assume duties related to strategic planning, account management, operations, solution development and client satisfaction.

Telligen CEO Jeff Chungath said the appointment will work to support expansion efforts on the East Coast.

Titus-Howard has nearly 30 years of experience in the health sector and has worked on healthcare delivery systems, policy, data analysis, contract oversight and public-private partnerships.

She previously held the VP of federal health role at The Lewin Group and leadership positions within CMS’ clinical standards and quality group, quality improvement organization and quality innovation network as well as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation’s learning and diffusion group.

She has also served as vice president of the Mid-American Coalition on Healthcare, clinical quality improvement project leader with the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City and assistant director for quality improvement at the Western Missouri Medical Center.
