TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 15, 2017 A Vencore program director has received a Modern Day Technology Leader Award at the 2017 Black Engineer of the Year Award conference for her efforts to promote science, technology, engineering and math careers, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.
The company said Monday Zalenda Cyrille, who volunteers in STEM organizations and mentors young people on engineering careers, was honored with other awardees at the BEYA STEM conference held Friday in Washington, D.C.
