TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 15, 2017 Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), Inmarsat and GMV will support Australia’s geoscience research agency in a program that aims to develop a testbed that would demonstrate the potential applications of Global Navigation Satellite Systems on positioning, navigation and timing, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Lockheed said Monday the effort seeks to utilize the Satellite-Based Augmentation System testbed and signals from the L1 and L5 Global Positioning System and E1 and E5a Galileo satellite frequencies.
