TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 10, 2017 Six technology companies have formed an alliance that aims to promote awareness, drive collaboration and advance technology development on internet of things security, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
AT&T (NYSE: T) said Wednesday it is part of the IoT Cybersecurity Alliance that also includes IBM (NYSE: IBM), Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC), Nokia, Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) and Trustonic.
“Its become essential for industry leaders and innovators like those in the founding members of this Alliance, to work together to help the industry find more holistic security approaches for IoT,” said Bill OHern, AT&T chief security officer.
