TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 31, 2017 BAE Systems and Turkish Aerospace Industries will collaborate on the first development phase of the Turkish air force’s TF-X fighter jet program under a “Heads of Agreement” deal, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The agreement was signed ahead of a planned contract worth an estimated $125 million and builds upon a pre-contract study stage in which the two companies worked to pursue efforts to build Turkey’s future fighter aircraft, BAE said Saturday.
