TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 3o, 2017 ” EaglePicher has been chosen by Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) to produce a battery system with GS Yuasa Lithium Power-manufactured lithium-ion cells for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration‘s Joint Polar Satellite System-2, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
EaglePicher said Thursday it will integrate Li-ion battery platforms used on Orbital ATK™s GEOStar-3 satellite and NASA™s Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite-2 to develop the JPSS-2 battery system.
