TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 17, 2017 Dawn Scalici, global government business director at Thomson Reuters, has said government agencies will need to adopt data strategies and collaborate with the private sector to help utilize both internal and external data to support mission objectives.
She told ExecutiveBiz in an interview published Wednesday the commercial industry can assist public sector organizations in managing data in line with set privacy and security policies.
Scalici added that data analytics for law enforcement and homeland security operations, social media for vetting and evaluation, as well as blockchain for financial and identity transactions are three trends that Thomson Reuters will monitor in 2017.
