TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 12, 2017 Harris (NYSE: HRS) will provide electronic warfare systems for the Moroccan air force’s fleet of F-16 fighter jets as part of a potential $91 million contract from the U.S. Air Force, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday it will provide its AN/ALQ-211 Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite, spares and support equipment and services to Morocco.
Ed Zoiss, president of Harris’ electronics systems business unit, said AIDEWS is equipped with integrated radar warning and radio-frequency countermeasures.
