TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 10, 2017 The Defense Science Board has selected William LaPlante, vice president of Mitre‘s intelligence business, to co-chair a task force on software design and procurement for defense systems, GovCon Executive reported Monday.
Mitre said Friday LaPlante will help lead the task force that will evaluate the development of the Defense Department‘s software acquisition process over the past 10 years and provide insight to drive the modernization of process.
