TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 6, 2017 The Air Force Research Laboratory has awarded BAE Systems a five-year, $49 million contract to build, implement and maintain security platforms to support information dissemination between government networks, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
BAE said Thursday the systems will work to securely transfer sensitive messages, images and video and audio data among government agencies, particularly the Intelligence Community and the Defense Department.
DeEtte Gray, president of the intelligence and security sector at BAE Systems’ U.S. arm, said the company will develop cross-domain technologies that will work to boost visualization and data processing, as well as support machine learning capacity integration.
