TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 15, 2016 Boeing (NYSE: BA) has delivered the first of 14 updated E-3A Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft to NATO in support of the organization’s $257 million modernization effort, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Wednesday the AWACS units feature cockpit updates such as full-color glass displays, new avionics and the Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management digital flight deck.
