Bruce Hardy, formerly vice president of business development at security consulting firm Panthera Solutions, has joined Drone Aviation Holding Corp. as vice president of sales.
Hardy will lead Drone Aviations business expansion efforts for the companys aerostats and tethered drones within the U.S. government, the company said Wednesday.
“Bruce brings with him a unique first-hand, end-user experience and relationships in the special forces community and business network developed over the course of a decade in closing federal sales, said Jay Nussbaum, chairman of Drone Aviations board of directors who assumed the additional role of CEO in May.
Hardy is a 20-year U.S. Navy SEAL veteran who held federal sales executive positions at Dataline and FCN Technology Solutions.
He also managed Northeast sales to law enforcement agencies within the federal government during his time at tactical gear provider SureFire.
