TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 14, 2016 Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has completed the encapsulation of the EchoStar XIX broadband satellite in anticipation of its Dec. 18 launch aboard United Launch Alliance‘s Atlas V 431 rocket, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The encapsulation required the satellite to be connected to an adapter and enclosed in a launch vehicle fairing platform nose cone, Lockheed said Monday.
