TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 21, 2016 Wayne Lewandowski, vice president of federal operations at Vormetric, believes the combined functionalities of public and private clouds in cloud encryption gateways will work to help government agencies address security concerns regarding the use of third-party cloud service providers, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
He wrote in a guest piece published Nov. 14 that cloud encryption gateways could serve as the key element to advance cloud adoption in government alongside the vetting process of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
“With the use of cloud encryption gateways, government can rapidly increase deployment and take advantage of the cost savings, scalability and power that the cloud offers, “ Lewandowski concludes.
