TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 17, 2016 NCR (NYSE: NCR) has provided four self-service kiosks at the Veterans’ Day Parades in New York and Los Angeles to support service members and veterans throughout the event, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.
The Veterans Kiosk is designed to allow veterans, service members and military families to receive services, resources and care through a coordinated network of organizations, the company said Monday.
“Our goal is to extend the Department of Veterans Affairs outreach, and leverage existing VA services provided by non-profit veterans organizations and agencies, as well as existing veterans programs like My Healthy Vet and Tricare, ” said Stan Ratcliffe, president of NCR’s government solutions business.
Tom Verbeck, vice president and chief technology officer at NCR Government Solutions, said the kiosks will help veterans view their benefits and entitlements for free and in real time.
