TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 4, 2016 VMware‘s (NYSE: VMW) enterprise mobility management platform has received an authority-to-operate from the U.S. Census Bureau under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to allow its deployment in government agencies, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Thursday its VMware AirWatch will support agencies to manage, protect and remotely transfer mobile apps from the cloud as a FedRAMP compliant system.
Bill Rowan, vice president of federal sales at VMware, said the platform will help agencies to secure and manage their mobile devices and apps in line with the National Institute of Standards and Technologys cybersecurity framework.
