TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 3, 2016 The National Security Agency has cleared Harris (NYSE: HRS) to update the company’s military radios to support compatibility with the U.S. Navy‘s Mobile User Objective System satellite constellation, GovConWire reported Wednesday.
Harris has deployed a compatibility software patch for the Falcon 3 AN/PRC-117G backpack-sized radios that will work to allow relay of voice, video and data transmissions through the MUOS waveform, Space News reported Tuesday.
