TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 31, 2016 BAE Systems has received a contract from General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) Electric Boat subsidiary to manufacture payload module tubes for the U.S. Navy‘s Virginia-class Block V submarines, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The Virginia Payload Module features four payload tubes that will work to store and launch up to seven Tomahawk cruise missiles, as well as support integration with future payloads, BAE said Thursday.
