TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 18, 2016 Mark Testoni, president and CEO of SAP National Security Services (NYSE: SAP), believes that law enforcement and intelligence agencies face a challenge in utilizing big data analytics to predict crime and terrorist attacks due to various controls, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
He said in a Bloomberg report published Thursday that the controls that could potentially inhibit predictive analytics efforts include data access and sharing limitations and legal requirements such as court warrants.
Testoni, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, said SAP NS2 has previously provided a predictive analytics platform to an agency within the Defense Department.
