Theresa Pattara, a former H&R Block (NYSE: HRB) senior director for public policy and advocacy, has joined Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM) as vice president of North America government affairs with responsibility over the implementation of a company-wide government engagement strategy.
Iron Mountain said Tuesday the 20-year public policy and compliance veteran will promote the company’s interests with local, state and federal agencies and policy makers as well as monitor legislation on tax reform, information privacy and data security.
Theresa is a uniquely qualified and experienced government relations professional with an established track record on Capitol Hill and in Washington, D.C., said Ernest Cloutier, executive vice president of Iron Mountain’s U.S. federal, security and legal business segment.
Pattara is a veteran of the Senate Finance Committee’s staff, Internal Revenue Service, Justice Department, Peterson, Goodman & Hawkins, PwC and ParenteBeard.
She holds a juris doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton.
