TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 21, 2016 Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president for government policy, strategy and outreach at Inmarsat‘s government services business, has said satellite communications as a service works to deliver an integrated satcom architecture for the Defense Department, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Cowen-Hirsch wrote in a guest piece the integrated architecture would combine commercial satcom technology to perform core functions and military satcom capabilities to meet operational requirements and build on resiliency.
