TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 13, 2016 The North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command led field tests in Alaska on multiple satellite systems from Inmarsatand L-3 Communication‘s (NYSE: LLL) global communications solutions business unit, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Inmarsat said Monday its GX satellite communication network and L-3 GCS’ Panther II, Cheetah II and Hawkeye III VSAT systems were tested on Global Xpress services communication network, commercial Ku-band and MILSATCOM.
L-3 GCS was honored to be selected as a partner for this important operational testing, said Bob Jacobson, President of L-3 GCS and L-3s Tactical SATCOM sector.
