TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 25, 2016 ” Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) plans to move the manufacturing base for the company’s F-16 aircraft to India in efforts to secure a potential order of more than 150 fighter jets under a military modernization program by the Indian government, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Bloomberg reported Tuesday the proposed transfer could add the country as an additional authority alongside the U.S. for the approval of F-16 purchase orders.
