MDA Awards Parsons 2 Support Contracts for Missile Defense, Directed Energy Programs

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 22, 2016 ”Parsons has secured two “bridge” contracts worth a combined $48 million from the Missile Defense Agency to deliver advisory and support services for the agency’s Ballistic Missile Defense System and Space and Directed Energy programs, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company will support the Ballistic Missile Defense system architecture and engineering activities under a $40.8 million contract and MDA’s Space and directed energy engineering functions through a $7.2 million contact, the Defense Department said Thursday.
