Paul Litchfield, a director at Mission Ready Services, has been appointed chief operating officer of the Vancouver, British Columbia-based product development and consulting firm.
Rod Reum, president and CEO of Mission Ready, said in a statement released Wednesday Litchfields leadership and operational experience will help the company manufacture and commercialize its protection equipment products such as the Electro Muscular Disruption platform, Tactical Shield Cover and Ballistic Combat Shirt.
Litchfield said he plans to bring his three decades experience in brand building and product development to his role as the company prepares to introduce its Protect the Force brand.
He spent 30 years at Reebok and served as president of Puma Footwear, where he oversaw product design, development and marketing efforts.
The athletic footwear industry veteran, who holds a bachelors degree in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire, performed post-graduate research in human performance at the Institute of Offshore and Environmental Medicine in Scotland.
