TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 26, 2016 ” Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has completed initial performance trials on the Sea Hunter trimaran as part of the Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel program by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and the Office of Naval Research, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Monday the tests focused on the autonomous vessel’s speed, maneuverability, stability, acceleration/deceleration and fuel consumption.
