Parsons has landed a $455.1 million contract to assist in the Missile Defense Agencys weapons and missile systems engineering projects.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday the company will help MDA track weapons systems, integrate system and subsystem hardware and software, assess and verify performance and inspect target and countermeasure aspects of systems.
Parsons will perform contract work in Alabama, Virginia and Utah through June 2021.
MDA used its fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds to obligate $12.9 million at the time of award.
