The General Services Administration plans to issue a request for proposals on the potential 10-year, Alliant 2 contract vehicle as early as June 20.
GSA said in a presolicitation notice posted Friday on FedBizOpps the Alliant 2 governmentwide contract will cover information technology platforms and support services for federal agencies and that the RFP is for the unrestricted part of the contract vehicle.
The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will have a base period of five years and five option years.
GSA said it could award task orders in 2017 in the form of time-and-materials, labor-hour, fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contracts.
The agency also plans to hold an optional teleconference by the second week of July to provide industry an overview of the RFP, according to the notice.
