TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 3, 2016 Vencore will collaborate with George Mason University’s school of business to develop a tool that works to quantify cyber risk for federal agencies, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday the team will design a data valuation algorithm to measure the potential monetary impact of a cyber attack.
“It is currently difficult to measure the amount of damage that cyber terrorism causes, ” said Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Vencore.
“This unprecedented work will help us and our clients accurately assess potential losses, so that the attack prevention and protection investments are more obvious and justifiable.”
