TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 15, 2016 Hughes Network Systems has provided $10, 000 in prizes to a student from McLean County in Illinois for his work to help empower young people in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday the National 4-H Council selected Thaddeus Hughes to receive the 2016 Youth in Action award and prizes consisting of a scholarship for him and STEM programming for McLean County from program sponsor HughesNet.
