BAE Systems to Submit Tender as Prime Contractor of JORN Phase 6

TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 15, 2016 ” BAE Systems will vie for the prime contractor spot of the Australia™s Jindalee operational radar network (JORN) phase 6 upgrade in 2018, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Friday it will submit its Request for Tender this 2016 as a prime contractor of the Project Air 2025.

œWe are currently working closely with the government and [Defense Science and Technology Group] to upgrade aspects of this critical technology in readiness for the major Phase 6 undertaking, said Glynn Phillips, BAE Systems CEO.
