Zimmer US Inc. has received a potential five-year, $380.98 million order from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide orthopedic supplies to the four U.S. military branches and federal civilian agencies.
The contract contains a one-year base period and four one-year options and the agency will use defense working funds from fiscal year 2016 through fiscal 2021 for the procurement initiative, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
Contract work will take place at Zimmer’s facility in Warsaw, Indiana through April 25, 2021.
Zimmer provides musculoskeletal healthcare products and services intended to help orthopaedic surgeons and clinicians treat people with arthritis and traumatic injuries.
