Concurrent Technologies Corp. has promoted Danielle Bush Gerko, most recently cybersecurity operations manager, to the role of chief information security officer.
In a LinkedIn post published Wednesday, Gerko also announced that she earned the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, or CCMC, Assessor credential and the CCMC Lead CCA designation from The Cyber AB.
In addition to her designation, she noted that CTC achieved the CMMC Level 2 certification.
Gerko’s Career Highlights
In 2020, Gerko was named senior cybersecurity engineer at CTC, marking her return to the nonprofit defense and space contractor where she first served as information systems project manager from 1996 to 2007.
Before rejoining CTC, the technology leader was CISO at NPC, where she served as IT manager for two years.
Gerko is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional whose industry career includes time as director of IT and chief information officer at the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College; network systems engineer at Link Computer; and system support specialist at Sherikon.
