SandboxAQ has launched AQtive Guard, a cyber platform designed to address threats posed by the rise of non-human identities, or NHIs, and other cryptographic assets used by artificial intelligence agents.
What Is AQtive Guard?
The company said Tuesday that AQtive Guard has Discover and Protect modules that provide organizations with visibility into their NHI and cryptographic inventories, allowing them to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities, orchestrate automated remediation workflows and enforce protection policies.
“There will be more than one billion AI agents with significant autonomous power in the next few years,” said SandboxAQ CEO Jack Hidary. “Enterprises are giving AI agents a vastly increased range of capabilities to impact customers and real-world assets. This creates a dangerous attack surface for adversaries. AQtive Guard’s Discover and Protect modules address this urgent issue.”
The cyber platform uses SandboxAQ’s large quantitative models to explore vulnerabilities, perform root-cause analysis and provide actionable insights for risk reduction and remediation.
“As cyber threats targeting sensitive government data, identities and critical communications increase with adversary access to emerging technology such as AI and quantum computing, SandboxAQ’s AQtive Guard Discover & Protect platform provides agencies with an integrated solution for improved security operations visibility, risk management, efficiency, and efficacy,” Robert Williams, head of business and partnerships at SandboxAQ, told GovCon Wire.
AQtive Guard works across cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, and comes with a generative AI assistant to help teams understand and comply with regulatory frameworks and standards, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s new security standards.
Technical Integrations With CrowdStrike & Palo Alto Networks
SandboxAQ has integrated its cyber offering with CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform, enabling AQtive Guard to provide customers with full visibility into inventories and remediate vulnerabilities by collecting data directly from CrowdStrike endpoints.
SandboxAQ has also partnered with Palo Alto Networks by integrating the latter’s firewall logs into AQtive Guard to facilitate interoperability, enhance visibility, and improve vulnerability detection and network security posture.
