Sikorsky Aircraft, a Lockheed Martin business unit, has secured a $232.4 million firm-fixed-price contract modification from the U.S. Navy for the procurement of long-lead time materials.
Sikorsky Contract Specifications
The Department of Defense said Thursday the company will provide additional long-lead time materials to support full rate production of the Lot 10 CH-53K King Stallion heavy-lift helicopters for the Marine Corps.
Sikorsky will conduct the work at its headquarters in Stratford, Connecticut. The contract is set to be completed by March 2026.
The Naval Air Systems Command located in Patuxent River, Maryland, will obligate the full amount at the time of the award. The contracting activity will utilize the Navy’s 2025 aircraft procurement funds for the project.
In July 2024, Sikorsky was also awarded a $120.2 million contract modification for long-lead tome materials needed for the production of 21 Lot 9 CH-53K helicopters. This contract modification will be completed this March.
