SAIC Secures $232M Army Award for IT Modernization, Systems Engineering Support; Josh Jackson Quoted

Science Applications International Corp. (Nasdaq: SAIC) has received a potential five-year, $232 million task order from the U.S. Army to provide systems engineering and information technology modernization support to help the military branch build signals intelligence and electronic warfare systems.

SAIC said Thursday the task order was awarded under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center Multiple-Award Contract.

The company will also identify vulnerabilities and gaps and recommend platforms and mitigation strategies across several intelligence disciplines.

Josh Jackson, executive vice president of the Army business group at SAIC, said the company is committed to supporting the Army as it transitions to a more data-centric environment.

“SAIC will expand our support of the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground by addressing these critical emerging battlefield challenges,” added Jackson, a 2024 Wash100 awardee.
