Leidos Books $249M Follow-on Contract for Army’s Automated Installation Entry Next Program

The U.S. Army awarded Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) a potential six-year, $249 million follow-on contract to support the Automated Installation Entry Next procurement project.

The Department of Defense said Friday the company will support deployment of AIE technologies including commercial off-the-shelf products in the service branch’s installations in the continental U.S. as well as Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, through Feb. 8, 2030.

The Army began its solicitation in December 2022 for vendors that could fulfill orders ranging from program management to technology insertion, identification authentication and logistics support for AIE. Leidos was chosen out of three bids from the online solicitation.

The defense engineering services provider will receive funding as individual orders are finalized. Work locations are also yet to be determined.

The contracting activity is the Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
