ASRC Federal Announces the Hiring of Joe Winthrop as Chief Financial Officer

ASRC Federal has appointed Joe Winthrop as its new chief financial officer. Winthrop has more than two decades of experience in key finance roles, ASRC Federal said Thursday.

“I am honored to accept this role with ASRC Federal,” Winthrop said. “As CFO, I will work to reinforce the organization’s dual purpose of serving its Alaska Native shareholders and advancing government customer missions through thoughtful investments and responsible financial management.”

Winthrop spent 15 years and nine months at Science Applications International Corp. before joining ASRC Federal. His last position was senior vice president of Finance, Defense & Civilian Sector Finance. He was SAIC’s vice president for Civilian Markets Customer Group Finance prior.

“Joe brings business acumen and outstanding leadership that will help drive performance and growth,” said Jennifer Felix, ASRC Federal president and CEO and Wash100 awardee. “We are very pleased to have Joe on our team and benefit from his industry knowledge and deep financial expertise,” adds Felix.

Winthrop has a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.
