M1 to Extend Army Aviation Training Support Under $567M Contract Modification

M1 Support Services has secured a $567.4 million contract modification from the U.S. Army to continue supporting aviation maintenance and flight school training efforts at Fort Novosel in Alabama.

Army Contracting Command has obligated funds in the service branch’s operation and maintenance budget for fiscal 2024, the Department of Defense said Monday.

DOD expects work to conclude by Jan. 15, 2025.

Denton, Texas-based M1 was awarded the original 10-year, $387 million contract in September 2017 to provide rotary aviation training support services to the Army and Air Force.

The Army awarded M1 a $535.4 million contract modification in December 2022 to extend aviation maintenance services at Fort Novosel, formerly Fort Rucker.
