Iron Bow Secures $1.4B VA Connected Care Integrated Network Contract

Iron Bow Technologies has received a potential $1.39 billion contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide integrated platforms and services in support of VA’s connected care technologies.

VA announced the contract award in a SAM.gov notice published Tuesday.

The Connected Care Integrated Network program is a single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a performance period of five years and two one-year performance-based optional ordering periods, according to the performance work statement.

Under the CCIN contract, the company will provide support services across four functional areas: product ordering, inventory and asset management; help desk support; connected care technology software and mobile medical application design, development, enhancement and remediation; and infrastructure and architecture support.

According to the PWS, connected care technologies include software-as-a-service platforms; web and mobile health applications; mobile medical devices, peripherals and wearables; commercial-off-the-shelf software products; online health portals; and remote patient monitoring technologies.
