Jason Galindo Promoted to VP of Axient Aviation Systems Business

Jason Galindo, a more than two-decade U.S. Army veteran, has been promoted to vice president of the aviation systems business unit at Axient‘s defense systems segment.

He will oversee Axient’s aviation contract portfolio that covers customers including the Army PEO Aviation and the Air Force Special Operations Force Fixed and Rotary Wing fleet, the Huntsville, Alabama-based defense contractor said Wednesday.

Galindo joined Axient in 2022 as a program manager and acquisition analyst after serving in various roles at DigiFlight, The Lockwood Group, KBR (NYSE: KBR) and Wyle CAS.

He was commissioned in the Army in 1990 as an aviator and maintenance test pilot and was qualified in the UH-1 Iroquois, OH-58 Kiowa and AH-1 Cobra aircraft.

His military career includes assignments in the 82nd Airborne Division, the 25th Infantry Division and the National Training Center.
